Our Healthcare Services
At Full Circle Natural Medicine we offer primary care services. Our naturopathic doctors see adults and children for preventive care, wellness, and for the treatment of acute and chronic illness.
A primary care physician (PCP) is the first point of contact for a patient. Your PCP is skilled at providing care and provides thoughtful referral of patients to other healthcare providers when the need arises. The naturopathic PCP also provides supportive care during and after treatment by other professionals.
Full Circle Natural Medicine is a family practice — adults and children, grandparents and grandchildren, entire families are welcome.

Lyme & Other Infectious Diseases
Lyme disease is often called “The Great Imitator” because its symptoms resemble a number of other diseases. Regularly misdiagnosed, Lyme disease has been confused with arthritis, autism, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, Lupus and bipolar disorder. As a result, Lyme disease requires a clinical diagnosis of symptoms followed by lab work to support and validate the physician’s diagnosis.
Pediatric Lyme: Pediatric Lyme disease and gestational Lyme disease are unique and special cases. Dr. Jena Peterson has trained intensively with world-renowned pediatric Lyme specialist Dr. Charles Ray Jones, MD, of New Haven, CT, and has expanded her practice to include these patients. Read more…
When an immune response runs out of control it can cause inflammation resulting in one or more autoimmune disorders, such as lupus, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, Addison’s disease and others. The naturopathic approach is to identify and treat the cause of the immune reaction, and not solely rely on symptomatic relief.
The endocrine system is distributed throughout the body, in a variety of glands that excrete hormones mediating metabolism, growth and reproduction. Endocrine dysfunctions affect health and the perception of health in many ways. Mood, sleep, energy level, appetite, weight control, nerve health, blood pressure, libido and many other expressions of biological and psychological function are mediated by this complex system. The Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) protocol starts with the understanding that autism spectrum disorders are biomedical in nature, and may be treated through a combination of therapies including diet, nutrition, detoxification and allergy avoidance. Read more…
Allergies — Food & Environmental
The body is constantly exposed to substances, in the air, in our homes, and even in the food we eat. Sometimes the response of our immune systems can become extreme, even though the substance itself, pollen for example, is relatively benign. Once begun, the allergic reaction tends to recur every time the body encounters that same substance again.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is marked by disturbances of memory, concentration and sleep, along with joint pain, exhaustion and lymph node tenderness. The origins of CFS are not fully understood, but an integrative approach that includes natural therapies offers significant improvement.
Many patients present with chronic symptoms that have bothered them for years, which can often be traced to inflammation caused by accumulated toxins in the environment and in our foods. A multi-pronged detoxification protocol can be designed for each individual, to cleanse and reset the body and begin the process of healing.

Two very different theories exist as to how acupuncture works. One comes to us from ancient Chinese philosophy, the other is based on modern medical research. However it is understood, the effectiveness of acupuncture is undeniable. The results speak for themselves. Read more…
Intravenous (IV) therapy is a way of infusing vital nutrients directly into the blood stream, bypassing the digestive system. Absorption is improved and even those with GI dysfunction can be treated in this way. IV therapy can be very beneficial in the treatment of arthritic and degenerative diseases, mood disorders, and as a support to patients undergoing harsh insults to the body resulting from trauma, surgery or chemotherapy.
