Dr. Sara Imam
Naturopathic Doctor
As an east coast native, Dr. Sara grew up in a family of healthcare providers who instilled in her from a young age the importance of diet and lifestyle in the prevention and treatment of disease. She was introduced to naturopathic medicine at a young age after a family member saw a naturopath, and was immediately drawn in by its blend of science and humanism.
Dr. Sara completed her undergraduate education in New England, where her thesis on gendered experiences surrounding food sovereignty ignited her passion for women’s health. Shortly after this, she moved to the west coast where she received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She then went on to complete a two-year postgraduate residency at a busy naturopathic primary care clinic.
